Destination
Trailer rentals in the Smoky Mountains. Hike the Appalachian Trail, drive the Roaring Fork, and catch the autumn color.
Mid-October foliage is the marquee event (book everything early); spring brings wildflowers and full waterfalls, summer warm ridge-top evenings, and even winter stays mostly mild at the lower elevations.
National-park campgrounds are wooded and creekside but have no hookups; the Gatlinburg–Pigeon Forge–Cherokee corridor is dense with full-service RV parks. Black bears are active — use the food storage the campground provides.
Corridor RV parks are easy delivery targets, and many hosts here include setup — arrive to a leveled, connected trailer and go straight to the park.

Elevation staggers it: high ridges turn in early October, the valleys by late October. The middle two weeks of October are the safest bet — and the busiest.
In-park campgrounds trade hookups for creekside settings; the gateway corridor gives you full service ten minutes from an entrance. Delivery listings serve both.
